We know that everyone has a different budget, needs, and preferences when it comes to their gear. So, the buckets consist of a range of price points such as budget, value, and premium.
To provide you with a better understanding of the gear, we also have an in-depth buyer’s guide section. Here we cover the things you’ll need to know and questions you might have prior to purchasing. For example, we explain down fill power and sleeping pad R-values. Or if you’re undecided between a tent vs hammock, we have that covered too.

There is no point talking about gear when you don’t actually go outside and use them. And this is where the destinations section aims to achieve.
We write about the popular places among campers such as the Yellowstone National Park, Glacier National Park, or the Smokies. Each guide will provide you with all the details you’ll need such as the best time to visit, things to see, popular campgrounds, and the best hiking routes around that area.
